if cost is not an issue, kooks, hands down, if cost is an issue, look into the TSP 1 7/8 headers, or a set of pacesetter coated LT's (which give me plenty of ground clearance even with a steepass driveway and TD's

Why not go ebay? For the price you could pick up a set and redo the whole exhaust. But if you are itching to spend Kooks.

Kooks, plus the spark plug access is that much better than the other brands mentioned.

I will second the spark plug ease of access. My brother has pacesetters and the plug on the passenger side rear sucks big time. I can change all my plugs out in the same amount of time it takes to change just the back 2 on the passengers side of my bro's car.

KOOKS for the win! You want the best, you're gonna have to pay for it. I've got a set and there is ZERO fitment and ground clearance issues with them.

Another vote for Kooks.

I had the same low hanging/scrapping SLP headers in the past. I was very happy to finally rip them off, and installed a nice set of Kooks. Zero clearance issues, great spark plug access also!

I have SLP's since they were having a sale at the time to get the high flow cats and y-pipe for free with the headers purchase. I don't have a problem with scraping (though I've heard of a lot of people having problems with clearance), car is stock height, and I wanted to use the O2's with the car. But if you're having problems with the SLP's scraping a lot and are damaged, why would you go back to them? Get something else, kooks or whatever.

Same here, QTPs would be my FIRST choice but if it's a decision between only SLP or Kooks I would clearly go with Kooks.

if money is no object from what i have heard/scene the american racing headers quality is great. If money is a object then go with the pacesetter LTs i have them on my car and they fit great. Install was easy as pie and the collectors tuck really high, as far as spark plugs i dont have any trouble getting them out.
