I just thought I'd share with ya'll that on a recent trip my cam only M6 SS with a 9" and 3.89s got 26MPG doing 70-75 the whole way. The rest of my mods are in my sig.

That's pretty much what I get with my stroker. (With a few more horses though) But I also figured out that when I get on it, ie: racing at the track, I am getting 5 miles to the gallon.

Awesome. GM fuel economy rocks

My v6 Malibu gets over 30 highway, better than my old Integra, and the Malibu would torch the Teg in a race too .

Did a trip to Dallas and back to S.A. and got just over 450 on 1 tank. Worked out to a smidge over 30mpg on M6 w/stock rear and stock cam Did a trip to Houston last week and only got 25ish, but drove around Houston for about 80 miles...that sucked!

Thanks for all the comments guys. I hope to install my nitrous system soon and shoot for high 10s. A 10 sec. DD would be awsome.

sounds about right.

i know my car runs 26mpg or so doing 80-85mph on the high way with the windows down and Ttops off. usually get a touch more if i put the tops on.

i'd like to see what it would do with a better part throttle tune.

its nice cruising 80mph below 2000rpm.....love my stock gears on the highway. although for my around town stuff it would be nice to use 6th more often.

It has almost everything to do with it. I gained 6mpg with a M6/9"/4.56's over the A4/10 bolt/3.23's. t56 > 4l60e
