Whats the part # for mellings oil pump
I am looking to buy the mellings oil pump for my ls1 and possbly for a 6.0 iron block motor. What is the part number for the mellings oil pump that replaces the stock ls1 oil pump? I want one that will be a direct bolt on but still move a little more volume oil than the stock pump. Also when I put my 6.0 together I need to know what timing chain to use with out clearance issues. I would like to possibly go with an adjustable timing chain so I can have the cam degreed properly.

So will the 10296 with the high volume spring in actually pump too much oil like a few have said? I'm just looking for a pump to install in my stock lq4 6.0 for a swap in to my camaro. It does have heads and cam. What do you guys think? should I go with the 10295 or 10296 ?

run 10296 with the blue stock spring if your motor never been built, if otherwise, run the red high pressure spring for more pressure since built motors have more clearance and tend to lose pressure.
