Default What cam for 3500 stall and 150 shot

Hey I am in the market for a cam, and would like to get some opions. I have a 4l60e with a 3500 stall, ls6 intake, and headers, and a 150 shot of nitrous. I would like to pick up a few tenths at the track. I am currently running 7.1x' on the jug, and 7.8x's on motor(1/8th mile times). This is a street car and I dont want anything to big, I have looked but not seen anything specific to my set-up. Thanks guys!

Nitrous likes exhaust bias so whatever you do make sure it's a traditional split.

cam from thunder racing 231/234 .640/.590 112 LSA 2400-6800 RPM Power Band. Excellent mid-range & high RPM power. 3200+ stall, 3.42+ gear, computer tuning required. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended. Comp 921 Valve Springs are highly recommended.

New Era Performance sells the streetsweeper cam in two versions. The smaller is a 228/232 111 lsa which sounds perfect for you. My buddy has that cam with a BBK intake and he ran 11.95 @ 113.80 last week with it. 150 shot on top of that is easily high 10's. Driveability is excellent as well. No bucking or surging at all. Just give it a minute to warm up and you're GTG.

I know they had a few in stock late last week. Give Mike a call at 585-865-1832.

i'd opt for something like a 224/228 on a 110, just because you want it to be very docile on the street. only running a 150 shot - you can run whatever cam you want, the gains will be the same across the board.
