TBSS and GM Gen IV Truck Owners... RADICAL Gains from RADICAL Ported Intake!
#81
Thanks for the pm reply and unfortunately I am in the off season so I wouldn't be able to test out your ported intake until spring. However I am currently using a gen 3 unported truck intake on a cammed 6.0 lq4 (379 rwhp/357 rwtrq) so the results going to your porting of a tbss intake should be sweet. Maybe 20 rwhp overall..we shall see ☺
I could do a before and after tbss porting, both tuned so you can finally get some fresh dyno results. Springtime should tell.

Yes, we are offering a $25 holiday discount on orders of $500 or more. Just enter XMAS16 for the coupon code when making your order and payment on our online store at http://www.peakspeedshop.com/Zen_Cart/. Or, you can call us at 719-651-1952. Discount goes through 1/15/17.
The price jump you mention above isn't accurate. You are comparing the Basic Porting and Radical Porting prices. Basic Porting this manifold is still $275 and Radical Porting is still $425. Here is the link for both options:

The Basic Porting is porting the runners and throttle body entrance but not all of the work that is done inside the intake manifold plenum that the Radical Porting photos show.

I am interested in doing this on my NNBS 5.3 manifold. I am wondering how this effects the Tq and Hp under 3k rpm. Will this have any negative effects on the curve in the lower rpm. I tow often and would like as much lowend as possible and was hoping this may be an option. My max rpm is 6200 if that matters.

Looks like I have an earlier version. I have a 92mm cable throttle body I was planning to use with this. I can make my own cable mount, but I was wondering: Does the "radical" version of the porting open up the plenum enough so that I can use that throttle body without issue?

An excellent game of phone tag indeed sir!
I had a question. i have a gen 3 intake manifold. is the radical porting process the same as on the 4 bolt intakes? in other words do you remove that hole in the back of the plenum and get rid of the cylindrical structure? I have seen all the pics of the new style manifold and am wondering if the process is basically the same..Thanks

I am swapping a 2005 lq4 engine Into my truck. I want to put one of your Gen IV tbss intake manifolds with radical porting, what would I need to do to swap your intake onto my truck?
