Shorter Runners for FAST Intake!!!
Saw FAST intake @ PRI YESTERDAY
They have replacement-removable runners for their
102 Intakes . Two Versions short and medium, eyeballing
I would estimate 6" & 9" could be +- 1 " either way.
This is great news! existing Fast owners can just
Change out runners rather then Getting the MSD,
Saving considerable $$. Thanks to MSD for putting
The Torch to FAST's ...
Should be available in next 2-3 Months if not sooner!

These are runners for the
Car intakes which FIT under
C5,C6,& F bodies!
These fit FAST 102 don't know
About 92,& 90.
Benefit is increased Peak HP
@ Higher RPM for engines
W/Bigger Heads & Cams.

Shorter Runner Application
MSD is releasing LS7 first ~ 30 days, LS3 2nd ~ 90 ish days, followed
By Cathedrals 180 days according to the person in charge at MSD
who was at PRI. FAST has a patent on removable runners so MSD
had to base their design on one length. The MSD will fit under it's corresponding engine/vehicle.
Billy the man in charge at COMP/FAST who was also at PRI said
LS3 & LS7 runners would be available very soon within weeks.
I have a Mamofied Fast LS3 & Had intended to get the MSD and have it ported
By Tony as well for my Big-Bore TFS LS3 build but as the FAST runners
Will be available sooner and less expensive plan to get the HP runners
And perhaps the race runners also and do some comparative testing
Hopefully by the end of March.
In would expect FAST to have runners for the Cathedrals as well in order
To compete W/MSD. I do not know if they would fit the 92 or just the
102.

Lingenfelter has tested the MSD on a 573RWHP 427 CAMARO &
Gained 36 RWHP & 16 lb ft versus a ported aftermarket
Intake (FAST). And I saw a Dyno Graph @ the
MAST booth (PRI) and they Gained 20 HP ( Crank?) and area
Under the curve on one of their engine packages. They guy
Was supposed to E-Mail me the graph but some how I did not
Get it. PRI is the Ultimate Hard-Core Engine/Mechanical Systems
Etc. Car **** experience.
( Next to Racing of Course LOL )
Every Car-Guy needs to go at least once!

FAST RXT truck intake is much taller, so runners stand up taller.
If you look at the medium or HP runners in the photos posted
They are laid down at a flatter angle so they fit under the cover.
The Race runners being shorter are able to stand up taller.
I plan to test all three on my Engine build, hopefully by the end of
March 2015.

Runners on MSD are closer in length to FAST HP or medium length,
Not quite as laid down, but definitely more laid down than the shorter
Race runners In the FAST, remember the MSD still has to fit under our
stock hoods If they want to sell them in enough volume to pay for development. But it is great that MSDs entry has forced FAST to step
Up their game!
