if its a lq9 motor and not a lq4 (with dish pistons) then you will roughly have stock ls2 compression of 10.9:1 because the lq9 and ls2 have very similiar pistons

It will be a little higher than an LS2. 11-11.1 or so.

It will be the flat pistons lq9 going to go all motor on it so i heard higher compression is better but the cam is going to be hard to choose any suggestions? I know the lift is going to be high cause i am going to go with a 1.75 roller rocker aswell

I ran the exact setup in my truck, LQ9 with LS6/LS2 heads. Its right around 11:1 and ran great!

I had the stock puny cam 196/200 .469/.479 lift, stock LS2 intake, stock exhaust manifolds, and 2 1/4" exhuast. It ran 12.80 @ 103-104 in my 3500lb truck.

It has nothing to do with lift. At max lift the pistons and valves are not close to each other.

You have to measure no matter what anyone tells you, because they are guessing.
