Built 460 could go anywhere from 450 to 900 hp.

We need a little more to go on..

A mild 460 BBF can hit the 500hp mark EZ with Torque to boot. And well over 500+ cid
And when you stuff that between the shock towers of a Fox-body stang that can weight in at under 3000lbs with the BBF, that CAN become a tall order to try and fill.

An LSX answer to that IMO would be a big c.i.d. LSX (440+). there is no replacement for displacement. you will need to get that F-fody on a diet and get the suspension hooking.

Default Problem solved ?

I'd do the 440 with LS7 heads, or L92 flow great for the cash..

Themack56 is selling a MID sleeved ls1 block. The MID ls1 block could handle anything N/A up to 454 ci . Any quesitons about the sleeves, contact Steve @ RED.

Then +1 put ur ride on a diet n make sure it hooks up !

With that boat anchor between the shock towers, I bet even he has a problem hooking up !

All ls motors are physically the same external size, regardless of CI. The only difference is the tall deck blocks, and honestly most people even on here would not notice the difference iwhen it is installed in the car.

You might check out the 8 and 9 sec. cars on V8RX7 Forum. Several of the guys with stock LS1's run in the 11's. Put the F-body on a diet and you can be there. How fast do you want to go?

My advice, find out how fast his car is first... you shouldnt have a problem taking him unless its an all out track car built to drag race...
