Anyone build one yet?Looking for a direction for my build.The compstar crank in the bigger stroke is cheaper than the 4 inch.(Because it is unbalanced)..Thanks

With that much stroke you might be hampered by your intended usage of your motor. What will you be doing N/A, turbo, or nitrous?

Yes already been there done that. We have done some for drag only but the cylinders are really too short on the stock blocks. My shortblock for the Days deal that went 9.39 was like this but it is too thin for anything other than strictly NA only and very hard to get a piston working in that short bore as well. Once you balance that crank it's much more as well.

By difficult, do you mean because the ring stack, piston ring land, and pin are all fighting for real estate on a short piston?

4.250 is typical size crankshaft we use in a BBC, taller deck height, longer sleeves, I can tell you from experience in many scenarios 4.000" crankshaft combination turns out just as much power.

If your pockets are deep just get a RHS tall deck and it will fit.
