Default Building an LS for a 350Z

In the decision making process, with the goals of 500rwhp before spray, but setup to receive spray well. Once I get to that point, spray about a 150 shot.
I've done a ton of reading, and there are so many options. Looking at LS2 / T56 setup and modding from there, thoughts?
Will be posting a full build thread with pics, the teardown of the built VQ I blew will start it out.

Snyper has had a turbo ls2 now an all motor ls2 fafonfoe has an ls2 making 475rwhp in his g35 and Royal T is building an ls1 drift z. I'm trying to piece together my ls2/3 for my g35. Lots of info around just search!

Thanks. I know each of those guys minus fafonfoe. My wife is displeased with the amount of reading I've been doing this last week.

If you want a nice driving 500rwhp N/A, then you're gonna have to go with bigger cubes than the stock 346/364/376. Can it be done on those platforms with just a topend swap? Sure, but again if you want an easy driver you should consider a stroker or an LS7 if you can afford it.

If you're gonna stick with a stock short block, at least do some rod bolts and then some badass heads with a FAST intake and cam to match can get you there.

Ls2 with ls3 top end cars have been putting down some serious power for a fraction of the cost...

Thanks a lot for the input guys. It's really insane the amount of options. I'm doing my best to narrow them down. Based on my power hunger, I've been looking at some custom iron blocks setup for boost, reliably run 700rwhp with boost. argh it's killing me. I had near 700 wheel in my tt VQ engine...

Narrowed it down to two.

LS2 with LS3 heads, shooting for 460-475 rwhp with a sick tq curve.
Or a fully built LQ9 with forged everything and run 800rwhp on PT .76mm tarby.

Hmmmm.

I was VERY close to pulling the trigger on a very similar setup.

But I've decided on the LQ9 setup, eagle forged crank and rods, weisco pistons, built hard for 900rwhp on a daily, Precision Turbo .76

Stage 3 T56, SIKKY swap kit.

Thoughts?
