i have a blown 06 LS2 and i have a good 03 lq4. will the blocks interchange? Im not sure if the reluctor wheels are different but I can reuse the Ls2 crank if needed.. Whats needed to put a LQ4 block in a C6

so i can us the ls2 crank, drill out the lq4 block for the knock sensors . will cam/ timing set and ls2 front cover and sensor go on the lq4? sorry if these are stupid questions.. i never advanced past the ls1

what car did the ls2 come out of? if it was a vette it has a 58x reluctor if it was any other car it was a 24x and will be the same as the lq4 but yes everything will go onto the lq4 block off of the ls2 you can even use the ls2 cam if you want to

Ls2 cruiser

Remember the valley plates are different as the cam and knock sensors are in different positions. You will also have to change your loom for the cam sensor and knock sensors. If you change the position of the knock sensors and you will have to use the Lq4 valley then you will have to block off the knock sensor holes(I am not familiar with this bit).
