Should be nice. In the past I have dealt with both Ron and Mike. Very nice people.

Not yet, but getting close.
Sometime after Labor Day is what I'm shooting for.
Been 3 years, last motor was a 382 and made 465 RWHP and ran high 10's.
This motor made 110 FWHP more and car is alot lighter. Also new rearend and trans.

The boat arrives Monday with my engine and it should be up a running by next Saturday. Can't wait to see what it puts down and how much of a true monster it is really going to be.

I should be out in HI this February (my camaro won't be out till around september 13'). Are there any decent shops out there on Oahu? How do the local DMV react to non stock engines?

There are some good shops on the island but they are expensive compared to the mainland. Worst thing about the DMV is the line, they do visual inspection here so it's not that bad.

Default Just a matter of days now

She left to meet the engine at the shop on Wednesday and it is in there hands now. It's not a bad deal living in Hawaii unless you are shipping engines $$.

Well it is getting close went down on Friday and checked out he progress. Love the fact that pulling up at a shop and see nice cars out front. It makes me feel good about where I brought my GTO. The engine looked great and the NW TB can suck up a small bird. I cant tell you have it looks until you are the one pulling out of the box. My pictures suck cause I lost focus on taking pictures cause I was all fired up and was about the bizz.
