Default LS3 valvecovers

i installed LS3 heads/intake on my LQ4, now i realize the valve covers (at least the pass. side) because the baffles hit the offset rockers
is there one that fits and still use my LQ4 coil brackets-i could prob break out the baffles since i will prob cap off the nipple
curious what otheres did

The baffles are for oil control. Unless your using the ls6 style pcv system, you will pull oil into the intake. Even if your using a catch can, you will be emptying it constantly and putting oil in it.

On one of my setups, I cut the baffles out and swapped over to the LS6 style PCV system. It worked the same for me, and saved me a little cash.

I used a set of LY6 valvecovers from the classifieds and the they ar made to clear the offsett rockers from the factory. My 2003 truck brackets bolted up just find. One hiccup was the LY6 and LS3 covers use a different type of oil filler neck and cap, so I had to order those peices seperately (about $30). I didnt want to cut the baffles of my LQ4 covers, just **** like that.
