Ideals for a 6.2 build
I got a 1998 z28 wanting to put a stroker motor in. I picked up a 2008 6.2 out of a suv. Thinking about the 427 stroker was wondering if anyone had input or any advice on what products or cam etc. Thanks ahead of time.

A 427 would make a 4.100 stroke crank have to be in there and if you are going to be on motor only that will be fine. If you have a power adder it is not recommended to have that much stroke and to keep it at 4.000. Get with Geoff@EPS or PatG on here and let them spec you a cam. It makes no sense to get something off the shelf when a custom grind doesn't even costs much more. You can take the stock L92's and send them out to be ported and change the springs and valves. Most guys opt for the hollow valves out of the LS3 for their weight and use spring to match their cam. Geoff or PatG can guide you on that. Texas Speed can provide you with all you need to convert the motor over to use the LS1 pcm. To save money also, you can go with an LS3 or L76 intake and have it ported or if you have the money opt for a FAST.

You can also call CompCams and ask for Gab Gray he can spec you out a cam for free, SDPC and racetronix also have your wiring solutions that you'll need. Remember if you stroke it you'll need a 24x reluctor on your crank and keep your old knock sensors cause you'll be needing them too.
