Very nice! I pulled a;most the exact same hp as you on a mustang dyno, and was told probably 30-50 hp more on a dynojet dyno

That's awesome man. I'm extremely happy with the results. It has a small cam in it, but I wonder if some heads would wake it up even more

Screw the dyno numbers. As long as it runs good and you're happy with it that's all that matters at the end of the day. Those number aren't too bad at all for a setup that mild. The LS3 heads flow a **** ton of air even in stock form so I would worry about slapping a bigger cam in there before you do heads. Just my 2 pennies.

Thanks man I am happy with it. Dyno numbers are just a number to me. I would love to get a big cam in there later down the road. Next thing I need to focus on is putting the power to the ground.

So just to confirm...you have an LS3 with a hotcam? And it made those numbers? I would say thats a win/win...low lift..doesnt beat up the valvetrain..reliable..and with some spray you can make serious power.

Yes sir. It is the ls3 376/480 straight from Jegs. Have not modified it in any way, it came from GM with a hot cam. Exhaust is also very open as you can see in my mods, which I'm sure helped out a little. Very happy with it and probably going to spray it after I have a rear that isn't made of glass lol.

Sweet swap man, you probably get a good warranty this way too. How did the swap go? Did you use the racetromix harnesses for maf and knock sensors? I didnt watch the video yet but is it 6 speed? Is there a certain flywheel needed?

Very nice, saw this on powerhaus performance facebook page. Roshan is the man at tuning. He's the only one that has tuned my tbss.

I may go ls3 next but I would do a bigger cam no doubt. What was the stock size cam in the ls3?

Ls3 is a sweeet motor. I had mine shipped from GM with the Hotcam already installed so you get cam and a warranty which is hard to beat

Bigger cam should make over 500 to the wheels. The hotcam is only 219/228.

Stock cam size is like 205 something I forget off the too of my head but the hot cam is estimated by GM at 50 additional horsepower

Never a truer word spoken!

Our LS3 with 231/239 cam only makes 428rwhp on a DynoJet 258C, which in a 3,880lb Monaro is good enough for low 11's

Who knows maybe mine just made good numbers lol it made 360 with just full exhaust and a lid with the old ls1 and a tune from Roshan. Also Roshan is one of the best tuners in the industry, especially on tuning LS vehicles. I don't go around saying I have high numbers though, I don't even include them in my signature, all I care about is quarter mile times and the funny thing is I have yet to run it at the track so we will see how that goes when spring rolls around
