I found mine on a local forum, I was pretty lucky though, it was built by texas speed but somehow it came out as a higher compression motor, the guy only had around 800 miles on it. He sold it to me pretty cheap and he went with a rhs block and blower like he had originally wanted. Got the longblock with a spec 3+ clutch for $4850.

Lol I know I could probably easily double my money on it. I cant believe I got it for that price, he was asking more than that but when I got there I got it down to that. I have it wrapped up now, I juss pulled the heads to make sure everything looked good which it was. It will be fully assembled in the next month with the new cam, springs, and lifters. These motors are outrageous though.

I know I can google 1,000 of these build threads on that, but you should make one and do a dyno sheet after.... see if its really worth all the fuss

Yeah I have some pics, I need to get a few more and im going to start one. I want a solid mid to low ten second N/A standard shift car so the ls7 should get me there. There are many other routes you can take bc I was going to do a ls3 until I can across this motor. For the price I dont think I could've done anything else cheaper.
