where to buy good used ls7?

where to buy good used ls7?
looking to try and grab a nice used ls7 for an 04 gto project, trying to find one seems harder then i thought ( they are beaucoup expensive here in australia ) so i was looking for somehwere to import one from. ebay hasnt been much help so any ideas on where to buy / the going rate for one that should be in decent condition?

Man they seem they getting harder to find but if I was you I would Google search LKQ online...... and go from there.

I found mine on a local forum, I was pretty lucky though, it was built by texas speed but somehow it came out as a higher compression motor, the guy only had around 800 miles on it. He sold it to me pretty cheap and he went with a rhs block and blower like he had originally wanted. Got the longblock with a spec 3+ clutch for $4850.

They are crazy to find in colorado.

Lol I know I could probably easily double my money on it. I cant believe I got it for that price, he was asking more than that but when I got there I got it down to that. I have it wrapped up now, I juss pulled the heads to make sure everything looked good which it was. It will be fully assembled in the next month with the new cam, springs, and lifters. These motors are outrageous though.

Yeah I have some pics, I need to get a few more and im going to start one. I want a solid mid to low ten second N/A standard shift car so the ls7 should get me there. There are many other routes you can take bc I was going to do a ls3 until I can across this motor. For the price I dont think I could've done anything else cheaper.
