HOSS LS7/T56 Build Thread
Well the time has come to make my build thread, I bought the car bone stock August 2011 after looking all summer for a nice fbody. Its been basically the same up until now, ive juss done some wear and tear items and suspension upgrades. I finally wore out the spec clutch, original t56 has a bad vibration in 5-6 gears(most like worn shaft). I bought another t56 to go in woth the ls7. I just about put the ls7 in a coupe I bought but I changed my mind a few weeks ago since I've put so much work into this car suspension wise and wanted a 10 second m6 fbody. Anyways ill give you a run down on the car and whats going in it.

Thanks, im looking for 6 second 1/8th mile times and a fast streetcar. I have the ls1 ready to pull out, I should be within a month. Only thing I haven't figured out yet is the fuel system.

I already bought fast 50lb injectors, ill be on pumpgas. Ive looked into the Lonnies stuff and seem they get good reviews. Figure a racetronics kit would probably work too with the right pump. Im guessing my stock lines probably work but idk.

Lol thanks for looking Elite. Ive benn pretty busy one it during my spare time. Ive got alot done since the last time ive updated this thread. Motor is in, went with a QuickTime bellhousing from Jeremy at RPM transmissions. Got that and my other transmission in. Had my holley valvecovers painted and found some ls3/ls7 coils and coil harness on ebay so that stuff all works together. Sending the pcm to James short tomorrow for a mail order tune to get me going, ill make a full dyno tune appointment as well probably this week. Ive got a ton of updates lol, ill try and get some more pics up tomorrow. But yes ill definitely have it at LSfest, I love going to that.

I have some better pictures but have to upload them to photo bucket, ive made good progress since those pictures but thats all I had one there already. It will be ready for start up soon, I got the computer sent out today. I guess im going to have Lonnie do my fuel pumps, im sure it is simple to do yourself but with my wiring skills id probably burn my car to the ground. Id say one pump will be fine for now but I want two so if I add more hp. Thanks for looking.
