Default Thoughts on this cam

I have a 05 gto 30k miles. i recently ordered kooks 1 7/8 headers. I plan on doing a plate kit with 150-200 shot. The car is 6 speed. I'm doing a monster clutch, built tranny, 3.90 gears, axes and all that. I'm considering the tick performance polluter v2 cam. It's a weekend car not a daily. Please Give me your thoughts, advice, and opinions please!

Best to contact Martin Smallwood at Tick Performance since thats his cam design. However on their website, it says it loves Nitrous, so i would say itd be quite good for that weekend warrior. Good luck with your project.

I plan on buying a set and having work done to them while I run the stock 243s but for now no.

Well Tick makes some great cams but so does Ed Curtis, Texas Speed, etc....I think your best bet is to get a cam based on the heads that you will be running down the road instead of what is best for now. Know what I mean?

A 150-200 shot is perfectly fine with the V.2 Polluter cam. 3.90 gears are a great addition to a vehicle wanting to run a larger camshaft such as the Polluter cam.

The Polluter works well in the 6.0 due to its slightly larger displacement than a 5.7 and it's added compression which puts it at 11:1.

Combined with the 3.90 gears and a will to spin it to 7000rpm shifts, you'll love it.
