Default 24 and 58 reluctor wheel question

do you know if the magnetic pick up is the same for both wheels?

No. One is black and the other is grey. They are not interchangeable.

Yes the plugs are the same, but they are not interchangeable

No, the plugs are keyed differently. You might could use the old one by sawing a new key slot, but they are different and will not interchange as-is...

That's odd, cause in my C5 they were the exact same. When I installed my LS2 years ago I forgot to swap them out. I found out when I tried to fire it.

The 58x wheel takes the gray sensor and uses this connector, while the 24x wheel needs the black sensor and this connector. If you look closely at the "key slots" they are different, not to mention the pinouts are different as well...
