so what all has to be done to make this work, EVERY part needed, TB and all. cause im thinkin about gettin a cam and i figure why not get this intake since its so damn cheap. and where can i get it? and how long will it be cheap
The $820 includes the LS2 fuel rails, which price out at about $129 or so. I opted not to go with the fuel rails, since I'll probably upgrade to some billet units anyway. I'm just going to hack my LS1 rails to "get me by" until I'm ready to upgrade the fuel lines & rails.
for 400 bucks and just a little bit of imagination you can have this set up for the same price u can get an ls6 set up. just have the same tb. i have a real good idea on what to do so if someone has an ls2 they can give me some dimensions on i can fab up a trottle body adaptor with a bracket built in. or if anyone wants to let me borrow one so i can do this in the machine shop. this would be a great project for my design class next semester at unc charlotte lol
um, i would but i kinda lost my license haha. let me go home and look at my car and ill try and see what i need measured, shouldnt be much. just like the length and stuff. i seen a link with a whole lot of pics of the intake, does anyone know where that is now i cant find it
ok i need pics of the throttle body region, the length from the front bolts that hold the manifold down to the opening in the manifold where the TB goes, dimensions of the flat spot where the TB bolts up to. are the bottom holes the same as the ls1 tb? hmmm thats all i can think of right now if i think of anythign else ill let you know what im lookin for. ive got the bracket all figured out, it will look factory, when i get it made ill post some pics, as for the adaptor i drew something up but ill have to check all measurements first.
