What LS7 parts if any are compatible with the LS1?
I am curious for future plans if you are able to use any LS7 parts(i.e. intake manifold, heads, etc) on the LS1 platform, I am aware that the LS7 clutch and flywheel are compatible, but are there any engine parts that are compatible?

As mentioned, with a 4.100" bore or larger, LS7 heads will bolt up, and since the heads bolt up, then obviously so do the intake, fuel rail, valves, springs, rockers, etc... The passenger side valve cover needs to be modified to clear the LS7 rockers. You need longer pushrods if using LS7 heads on an LS1/6 block, mine came out to 7.750" long.

i also was curious about this but more along the LS2 aspect of things.
I guess my question is about the ls2 heads and intake. are they better then ls6 parts? and wil the ls2 parts bolt up without modification like the way ls6 parts bolt up?
thx im a noob to the ls2 stuff

Short answer is no.
Anything can be done with enough time and money. But compared to selling the ls7 fat and buying a ls1 fast, it falls into the - not worth it - column

I'm debating wether to pull the accessories and everything that makes sense to re-use on a 2011 L96 motor but then I'm wondering if it will be more difficult then to sell an LS1 with all that stuff removed? What do most people typically do when dropping a motor into their Fbody that already has an LS1 that is perfectly fine? Source the parts needed for the conversion and sell their existing LS1 as a whole? Part out? Pull what they can off the LS1 and sell it as a long block less the parts? What is he best way to come out ahead? My LS1 has aftermarket heads, cam, pistons, intake, etc so the value is higher than stock obviously.
