SLP. But, there's quite a bit of clearancing to make them fit under the cover. And, the oil pump needs clearancing too. You get that far and need help, PM....

We stock the JP performance timing set, no clearance issues with an SLP oil pump

I'm confused. So the SLP or the JP Performance timing set doesn't require clearancing?

The timing sets fit fine with an LS6 style pump. You do have to clearance the Melling pump with any double roller, though. I have never had to clearance the front cover.

I was planning to use the Melling oil pump with a future L92 build and was wondering about this. I would like to use a double roller, but if a single will work on a radical setup, then so be it.

My SLP timing set came with spacers for the oil pump, and i've never heard of having to clearance the timing cover.

My double roller Rollmaster came with spacers for the oil pump, but I didn't have to do any clearancing on the front cover. This is of course on a LS1. What I want to know, with my future L92 block, using the Melling oil pump, will I be able to use a double roller and if so, will the pump or the timing cover need to be clearanced?
