Default GM CNC L92 Head Results!

Ok, we did a back to back swap on the engine dyno. The engine is our L92 427. We were running an L76 intake, box stock. The only change made between graphs was the heads themselves! We not only put the HP and FtLbs figures, but highlighted the difference between the runs in yellow for easier reference.

Solid gain...you didn't have any numbers below 4500 RPMs?

What size of what are we using? Unfortunately, we cannot send your heads off to be CNC'd, we only sell these heads CNC'd out of the box.....however Jason@PRC could probably take care of you on that!

sorry I meant what size cam are you using?? How much are the heads and are they avaliable with hollow stem valves and what springs would you go with for a 238/254 609/598 114 camshaft??? I have the stock out of the box L92s and 918 comp springs and stock valves it makes good power 505 rwhp on a dynojet but I feel theres more in it. I have 1 7/8s kooks with a true dual custom 3in exhaust and looking at getting the new starr intake when it comes out.

It's a low 230's duration on the intake side...pretty mild for those cubic inches!

We do offer a version of these heads with a Manley stainless steel valve, but not a sodium filled.

Looks killer! Can we see the entire graph? Any plans to offer a turn-key or long block with this set-up or are do we have to go through Mast?

That's all the graph we've got. We can put these heads and an intake on any of our short-blocks (4.0"+ bore of course)!

Exhaust duration is low 240's...lift is about the .600" mark.

That all depends on what short-block, which components you want, etc.

very nice power. that is some serious gains. can't wait till i can start my build.

did it seem like the L76 intake is holding it back up top? supposively the L76 is only good for around 6000rpm. don't supposive yall could do a carb style/l76 intake comparo with those heads.

The intake is definitely holding it back...look and see, the peak HP is 6200-6300rpm still, same as you see on all these intake setups.

We had to ship the engine already so it might be a little while before we get ready to do a back to back intake test.
