?Production piston for 4.1 stroke ls3?
Just like it says, I'm trying to get an idea of what manufacturers make a piston that will work with a ls3 block that will have a 4.1 or 4.125 crank and a little clean up work on the cylinders to get in the 420/430 range. Any and all help appreciated.

Diamond, JE, Customs would be my choice.
Most picton manufactures will set you up with a set of nice pistons.
Give TSP a call to see what they can do for you. They are always helpful there!

Hey there, I normally wouldn't post on this topic as as we're not a sponsor, but check out our website and you'll see the new parts for '08. Some are in stock and some aren't yet, so you'll have to call in. We've got another part number called the k462f series that didn't make it into the catalog in time, but keep an eye out for it....it's a flat top version of the k450.
The reason I'm posting is this stroke is VERY tricky to build a piston for. If a piston company gets it wrong, and they probably will,..your motor is toast in a few thousand miles. Use the brand you're comfortable with as long as you think the designer did his homework.
good luck, Brian Nutter-Wiseco Piston

Also like Brian said there's some pistons out there that don't really work in that app but they are still for sale. I have an engine here that was built way up North near Canada (and built very well as far as machine work) with some custom JE's in it that are beautiful parts but burn a quart of oil per 150 miles minimum. They have some key things wrong with them by design and will never work but they probably cost 1500.00!
