I like the looks of the Monaro MUCH better...this one looks like a Grand Prix with a fatter *** end. Ugh.

Just look at the C5 Corvette. They stretched the Mazda RX-6 and dropped a good motor into it. The C5 *** is way bigger than the new GTO.
I also agree the Holden version looks much better and more agressive. But Pontiac has to have brand identification. That means all cars will have similar styling. Wait for the LS6 version. It will look more like the Holden.
Thanks god they saw the light and didn't go with the styling cues from the 99 GTO concept.

People say the WS6 I drive is way over the top. The concept never would have sold. It was straight from Matchbox.

I went and saw this in person today at the LA car show and I must say that I am going to be in definitely considering trading my TA in for it. It definitely is not as muscular looking as the Z-28 or Trans Am, but it has a very refined look to it. Very European looking. The interior is sweet and the exterior is not done any justice by any pictures that I have seen on the web. The car at the LA auto show was candy apple red and looked way better the the yellow ones on the net. I definitely give it a thumbs up and can't wait to test drive one.
