Not yet. I've already got vacation scheduled for the middle of Sept, and I'm planning on going. 347, AI heads, Fast 102, etc, etc. I'm stripping the car down for the roll bar within the next two weeks. I've been eyeing drag week for a couple years, decided 2013 is time to make it happen.

Hey Taner,

Most fun I ever had, but definately wasn't a holiday! LOL. Worked our asses off all week last year. ET Streets sucked with the T56, shook all over everywhere!

Day 1 - replaced alternator and battery, many stops centering the rear end to try to get the tires to stop rubbing with all our **** in the car.
Day 2 - stopped to put rear spring spacers in. Stopped again to completely unload car to replace fuel pump.
Day 3 - worse track ever then longest drive ever, but all went well even when stopped by the popo while doing 75 in a 60 zone, and missing a checkstop that added 30 miles by going back to snap a pic.
Day 4 - got gready with the ET Streets and tried to bump up the launch rpm, shredded 3 teeth off the ring gear with the tire shake but ran it out the full 1/4 to get my slip. Tulsa locals were awesome. Rebuilt the 9" at a local machine shop, back on the road in 5 hours. Vibration from hell, but didn't care. Smoked a road gator and tore off the wideband, but thankfully that was all. Free beer at 1am back at the hotel!
Day 5 - Ran the car out the back door at 139mph, couldn't see out the rear view and teeth were rattling like those little toy teeth, but it lived through the vibration. All we did was try to finish, but we got 2nd place BBNA too!! Frickin awesome time and met lots of awesome people!

Used 48 bottles of water to keep us alive, and 10 gallons of C12 to keep the 14.5:1 motor alive, and got 20mpg on pumpgas.

Exclamation dates

Should be announced end of this month to begining of next(March)

At least from the last several years of DW.

I was there in 2009 for the first time.... AWESOME bunch of guy and it's been growing every year.

As some of you have said above.. you WILL find your weakness in the car...!

But it's a challange that you'll never regret or forget.

See you guy's there!

The complete schedule for HOT ROD Drag Week 2013 is:

September 8, Registration at Beech Bend Raceway, Bowling Green, Kentucky

September 9, Racing at Beech Bend Raceway

September 10, Racing at Lucas Oil Raceway, Indianapolis, Indiana

September 11, Racing at Gateway Motorsports Park, Collinsville, Illinois (St. Louis)

September 12, Racing at Memphis International Raceway, Millington, Tennessee

September 13, Racing at Beech Bend Raceway.

NOTE: September 14 is reserved as a rain day, and we WILL use it if needed.

The September 8 registration day at Beech Bend is concurrent with Holley's LS Fest at the same track. We will be on an open part of the property for registration. Holley plans to end its race around 3:00 pm, and we will have test and tune afterward.

These are the Locations, but I think the registration is about full, but check anyway if you are interested.

Registration of 250 cars filled up in 8 hours, 10 minutes!

I'm in though, can't wait. I've got a nice 347 (AI 226, 236/242, 11:6 comp, etc) ready to go in the car as soon as I get it back from paint.
