Default Hey guys, future LS1 owner

How's it goin everyone? New to the site, I'm a long time member of thirdgen.org. Owned a few f-bodies over the years, started with an '87 IROC with a 355, sold it with plans for a turbo v6 '91. It's all done, just waiting for some warmer weather to bolt the turbo/mount the intercooler.

After owning late 80's/early 90's f-bodies, I'm getting pretty tired of such old cars haha, and looking for something new. I've always been a fan of the 350, and what better 350 than an LS1?

Once summer rolls around (I'm a college student) I'll be picking up a 2000-2002 WS6, until then, I'm here to learn as much as I can about the LS1, as I'm sure it's plenty different from a carb'd 350.

Welcome. Yeah the ls1 you will like. BTW, it's not technically a 350, it's a 346, lol. Just had to say that.

I wish I had taken pictures of them. I did all the building before I started to hang around on car forums, so I never really considered it.

I'm at school right now, but on my home computer I have pictures of a rod halfway through the block on my 355 lol. Made it easy to sell though lol, I definitely made more being forced to part it out than I would have as a whole car.

Best part of getting an LS1, I just got a job at a GM dealership.

Mild build will happen.
