Default A mad slow Cammy

Hey everyone! Name's Mike, 19 years young. Got myself a 99 red Cammy M5. With a stock v6. I upgraded from a Sunfire...Lol.

Anyway. She's a cutie. What i have planned is swapping in an LS3 with VVT and AFM, running on E85 (only if more E85 gas stations pop up around here....), with the M6 trans. Basically, it'd be mechanically a 5th gen Camaro, but visually a 4th gen.

Sadly enough, my trans just blew up on me so now i have to scour the internet for either a new trans or rebuild instructions.

Trotting along on Z06 wheels, that i didn't take pictures of.

Never herd it called Cammy before. I post on v6f-body.com a really good site with guys that know their stuff about our v6's. If you look over there, like I had im swaying away from a swap, and plan on building the v6.

Dont forget about the rear and suspension to go along with that swap if you do plan on doing it. It might actually be easier and cheaper to buy a v8 car.

Anywho welcome to the site.

95 was the last year for the anemic 3.4. 96+ is the 3.8.

5800, but that doesn't make it okay. Especially because the guy was a dick about it. AND I KNOW MAN. lol. Lesson f-in LEARNED.

My parents bought it, actually, but my dad does some side work, and i work for him to "pay it off." And i had a hard enough time convincing them to get it, let alone an LS1.

Thanks for the welcomes, fellas. Anyone know of a swapper that has an extra M5 tranny laying around?

Nice ride but..how did the trany go?

Please consider the fact that the previous owner coulda sold you a lemon! If it blew after a while you had/drove it, then its different story.

Other than that, its very nice and clean with some exhaust work im assuming.
Now...Get rid of that grille! LOL
