Default Newb in MD

Hi folks. New to the forums. Somewhat new to V8s also. One of my previous cars years ago was an LT1 caprice but I wasnt too much into performance with it back then. Had springs & rockers, intake, and exhaust on it.

But now I've recently got into the LS1 scene. I feel so late to the party! But I'm glad I got into it because its still an awesome platform even after all these years. So now I've got a swapped LS1 RX7. I love the car and will be looking to mod for performance.

Yup I had big plans for it too... But apparently all the wanabe gangsta little hoodlum types in DC like that particular model too, so what do yah know, it got stolen. Never got it back. Oh well...

I really like the design of the caprice/impala. As far as sedans go I think that mid 90's era B-body was pretty close to ideal porportionally and asthetically. I still crane my neck for a look when a really nice one happens on by.

I'm in southern MD. Very smooth and well maintained roads down here, and MIR for the inner speed demon. I wish there were more secluded twisties down here to drive on tho, haha.

that sucks. someone tried to steal mine once, but i had pulled all the fuses and the battery lol cause it isn't a daily driver. those things are a hot target for theives even today.
