The V cant compete. Its just not happening. Too heavy and sluggish. I love the flat Black on the Vette. I dont know it just looked more appealing to me.

Was '05 before they starting supercharging them? Still looks good...just curious. Have you had the Vette at the track?

Yeah they're still awesome cars. It's nice to have a quick car that's extremely luxurious and comfortable. I guess they're kinda like the new GTOs but with an even better interior. I went to the Autoshow here in STL last winter whenever it was and had a chance to sit in the new V Wagon. That was awesome! So sporty and comfortable. If I were to get one of the new Vs that's the one I would get. I just think it would be awesome to say "I have a 600hp wagon with a 6 speed gearbox". And it's not like they don't perform. If I remember correctly they actually beat out the coupes around the track due to better weight distribution and were only like .1 slower on the strip? If that's correct, that's damn impressive.

That's what I like about the m6 in my goat. Don't get me wrong, my MPGs are nothing to brag about, but the manual definitely makes a difference. The interior and comfort level of the goat is matched by few other cars on the road. The goat is my fast, comfortable car. The '81 Camaro I'm building will most likely be much less comfortable with the race seats, harness, and roll bar, but I'm hoping to retain enough comfort to be able to take it on the Power Tour in 2013.
