Default New C5 Owner!

What's up guys, just picked up my 2002 C5 yesterday!, coming from a 350Z, this thing is amazing, all around better car, plus it get better gas mileage! haha i love it.

car has 40,7XX Miles, All stock.. original owner apparently never drove it!, it's in amazing condition. took the 4 hour drive down to Richmond VA to pick her up, well worth the drive, got her for an amazing deal.

but anyways, i'll be on here a lot i'm sure being as this is my 1st Vette/LS1. Got to find out all the little odds and ends i should, i'll grab a ton more pictures.. for now i just have the ones from the dealer and on the ride home, Glad to finally be able to join this forum!

This is just a coupe, the Z06's have the bubble top your talking about, its a hard top that can't be removed into a targa.

i love the removable glass roof!

well dam IMO they shoulda made this the z06 model.

hm... wonder how much it would take to make this a faster car than its z06 counterpart.....

and if there is a cheap one close.....of course OP already took it from richmond so that may have been the closest

Nice, congrats! I just bought a C5 last week too! I think I may have seen the ad for your car online too, but it was just too far. Mine is a 2000 NBM Z51 with 41,000 miles on it, kirban shifter, bilsteins, bassani x pipe, and borla stingers exhaust. I picked her up in delaware last week. Send me a PM maybe we can compare prices if you want and see where we ended up in this market (I'm curious with the way gas is and whatnot). I threw a few dealers some offers on similar C5s, and they wouldn't budge. Then I found a private sale that was immaculate and all the typical C5 issues have been resolved (redid the seals in the rear so no more leaky butt syndrome, brass headlight gears, optima battery, !CAGS, column lock bypass, all new fluids and documented service history). Anyways, good luck man!
