New 2000 Z28
Hello to LS1TECH!! I recently upgraded from my red 1998 v6 camaro to a pewter 2000 z28, just couldn't stand having a automatic v6 any longer so i got the v8 6 speed Got it bonestock with 58k miles for about $7k. I have plans of changing intake and exhuast and going from there. Not to long after hearing the ls1 has a restricting exhaust i decided long tube headers, off road y pipe, and magnoflow catback would sounds just about right! As far as the intake goes i was not blessed with an ls6 intake so im hoping for a used one along with maybe a slp lid. THAT'S MY STORY

I think that you will be VERY happy with longtubes, ORY and a magnaflow catback. The sound is awesome at mid/high rpms yet you will have no drone or hassle from the cops. Well, unless you scream by one at 5 K + rpm!! . I have this setup, and have gotten a ton of compliments on the sound.
I would however recommend spending a little more for a high flow catted y pipe, the stink from the ORY/check lights get annoying..

Shouldn't get check lights if it's been tuned.
