Default New member, Just bought an Z28 SS SLP!

I got tired of waiting for the new Camaro and decided to buy an Anniversary edition. It's a beautiful car with low mileage (23,790). I can't wait to hear your recommendations for modifications. It's all stock and has been at many shows. Your feedback is important! I hear the first thing I need is to disable the shift limiter?

Thanks!

Default Don't be jealous!

I worked a long time for this. I'm sure everyone here has worked and dreamed to build or buy a car. This is just the beginning of a new dream!

Default Thanks!

Any idea what HP gain would be with the exhaust mods? Just ball park. Guesses are always appreciated!

I would definitly do long tubes, and a full exhaust behind them. Maybe a cam if you have the itch to go faster. Nice car, I let one of those LE SS's get away a couple months ago, been kickin myself in the *** ever since.

The hp will vary, its all dependent what setup you go with. You can do some searching on the site and find all kinds of info regarding gains from different exhaust.

I would go with pacesetter long tube headers w/ off road y-pipe & GMMG exhaust & a tune. You would get around 330-350 rwhp.My 02 SS A4 stock made 302rwhp w/long tubes,no cats,stock cat back,lid,underdrive pully & no tune it made 333rwhp.

It's not an automatic. It's a six speed manual with the Hurst short throw!
