Sorry to hear about the F150.
For the wireing diagram check out the Stereo & Electronics section. Very helpful there, and the Stickies (posts up at the top in yellow) have diagrams.

And welcome to the wonderful world of LS1s!

Good first response.

Tons of great people in the stereo section to get you going in the right direction. The orange F-body in the sig no longer uses the radio.

I see you are from Houston. Tons of us on the board are local to you, so you should wander around in the Texas Section to see about the local meets and everything else.

Enjoy your stay!

Appearance and detailing forum has good info on getting it to look nice. If you plan on lowering at all, check out the suspension forum for good info on doing it properly. The stickies take a lot of time to read sometimes, but they have lots of information. The sponsors are always willing to take the time to make sure you purchase the right stuff, so don't be afraid to call them and ask them questions too. Have fun with the 99z.

Welcome Megan!
Sorry for the loss. I had an 00 SVT Lightning and I still miss that truck.

Like already said, check out the stereo section, plenty of info there. As far as looks and sound, its more about what you want. Low and lean? More of an in your face Drag look?...Loud? Quiet? In between. Good luck, and enjoy!
