My first V8
Howdy, let's see I haven't had to do this in a while.. The screen name was given to me on my local forum because there are too damn many of us Brian's so it just kinda stuck. I'm a moderator on ColumbusRacing.com who just came home from Iraq last Fall and now I work as a conductor for CSX railroad. My Dad is an engineer, his parents worked for the railroad, and their parents probably invented it. I don't know.
Anyways, new job new car. Picked up a '98 WS6 about a week ago and it's the most fun I've ever had on four wheels, while in the front seat at least . I got an automatic because frankly the 6mt's seemed too clunky to me because I've grown up around Hondas and other slow econoboxes. Also went auto because I want to build it up for drag racing for minimal chances of making mistakes. Or maybe I just have a great big vagina. It's got a Borla exhaust and all the free mods, that's about it for now.
I also have a Subaru SVX as a work truck. They came only in troublesome automatics (mainly overheating issues) and eventually mine grenaded from the mind-blowing 240 horsepower, so I swapped in a 5mt from an 04 Impreza. Not much to say about this car except I constantly have to answer questions about the windows as if I'm some Subaru nerd. I don't ******* know why they made them that way, so don't ask. But I like differentness, so I bought it. It's a blast in the snow, that's about it.
So yeah, that's my thesis of an intro. I'm an average white guy, I like *****, beer, but can't stand walks on the beach. Just did that for a year and it's overrated. I'll be sure to search around the tech areas and look for help before blindly making stupid threads. Glad to be here.

Welcome back, and welcome to the dark side of the force! You'll enjoy having a car that can easily become an 11 second street car.
Maybe it's time to put an LS1 auto in the SVX?
