Default New Girl from MN

Hi everyone! I'm from Minnesota, twin cities area... Just recently bought a 98 WS6... Here's some pics.

Just a few pictures I took real quick today to throw it on here.

It's an A4 with 3.23 gears and a couple of the basic mods... Borla, G2 lid, G2 Strut tower brace - 3 point, and G2 welded subframe connectors.

Soon to come - A couple little fixes like, straightening the Borla tips, replacing the power steering pump, etc and also doing Headers, ORY, tranny cooler, maybe an LS6 intake, and OEM Ram Air Stickers (they give it like 5 to the wheels! lol).

Thanks for looking!

She has 113000 miles on her and let's just say that the price I paid was pretty fair on both ends... I got a good deal but so did the guy I bought it from.

Good Luck with the car. Very clean, though.

Welcome to the Site.

Fellas, do not turn this into a leg humping parade. I apologize in advance for the restless neighbors we have here. LOL

Enjoy your stay.

Nice to see another Ls1 powered vehicle here in Minnesota.

Come to Brainard one of these Wednesdays and see how the car does.

Why not? With limited funds, myself being a mechanic, and my boyfriend being a mechanic... and since we have already been inside his LS1, I am pretty confident with my purchase. Unless you know something I don't...?

Sorry Mike... I just figured I should get my own name since I have been using Matt's for like the last month or two.

Thanks! I went to Car Craft last year and plan on going this year with mine. I am already part of the MNFbody club... I have been for quite sometime, I just finally got my own f-body and decided to join on here too. You might know my boyfriend, his username on here and mnfbody is Matt87GTA. We go to a lot of the meetings and we try to make it to all the track events. Is your username the same on there also?

What makes you say that? Do you know a previous owner?

Thanks! lol! You don't have to apologize for them... I am a female mechanic in the Army and am into the car scene... I'm pretty used to it. It's just what happens when your into things that not a lot of females are.

Thanks for the heads up but I must admit... I took those pics last week. I cheated a little by doing a little copy and paste from my MNFbody thread so I didn't have to go back through and do all the pictures again. Oops...

Sorry for the novel! Thanks to everyone else for the welcomes!

I can tell you right now that we looked this car over pretty carefully, and though we don't know the entire and full history of the car, the title is clear, Carfax is clear, and the body lines are easily as good as all of the MANY other 4th gens I have either owned or worked on. These are mass produced cars afterall, and after 100k+ miles, it certainly isn't unheard of for a body line or two to be a bit off. And her car is EXTREMELY clean and straight. It is damn near as clean and straight as my 50k mile 99 TA. But the bottom line is whatever you think you are seeing in the picture is actually not there.

And just for the sake of asking, what's the point in posting that? Are you trying to rain on her parade or some ****?
