LS1 transplant. FPR?

LS1 transplant. FPR?
Put an 04 LS1 into an 88 Landcruiser. The L/C had a regulator @ the rail, but the 04 was in the tank. I'm having intermittant no start problems. I'm assuming I need to add a FPR back into the system. What's the best way to go about this? I have two fuel lines off the back of the motor. One is the feed line, what's the other one? Do I just plug this line off?
Thanks in advance,
Tim

I'm using the stock Landcruiser in tank fuel pump. Stock rails.
Does the 04 motor even have a return line @ the motor?

The return is at the tank, so yes, it has a return, you just do not see it.
What most do is use the vette filter/FPR. It has the feed to the filter/FPR and the return from it goes to the tank and then it feeds the rails.
These are the part number to look for:
Napa Fil3737
AC/Delco GF822
WIX number 33737
What is the rating on that fuel pump, might have to be upgraded.

Just got the FPR/Filter. Looks like it will work out great, but will need the push-in pipe section for the outlet side. Does anybody know if this piece is available or will I need to source a used fuel line and cut this section out?
Also, it looks like the center port on the inlet side is the return since it's smaller and it doesn't flow air...am I right?
Thanks

Your local NAPA store should have about an 12-18" hard line that goes into the OUTLET side of the filter/reg and from there you have some other options, braided lines or rubber EFI hose.
As for the fittings to use, Russel has them, both sizes that just push on like stock. But then you have to decide how you going to attach those fittings.
No air is to be flowed, just fuel.
Search in the conversion/hybrid section on here and you will see all that you need with part numbers.
