Default 02 Z06 vs 07 GT500

I got the chance to race one from a roll yesterday We went from 60mph with no honk..I waited till I saw him go and then I went...I passed him pretty easy and then hit the rev limiter...still pulled all the way till I hit the dam rev limiter again...DAMN IT!!....shifted and was about 3 car lengths ahead of him and pulling away in 4th. I let off at 120.
His car is still stock and he has only had it for a couple of weeks. beautiful car though

Also raced a challanger SRT8 from a stop. By 120mph I was WAY ahead of him.

Sounds pretty fun. Those cars are a waste really, and they are worthless on street tires. There was one at the track last night that managed a best of 13.5@112 with a few boltons and a pulley. Street tires on a heavy car = worthless.

Nice kill but you hit the rev limiter on 2 out of 2 shifts? Practice, practice and more practice

sounds like a bad driver the new gt500's with a simple pulley, intake and a tune will lay down 500+rwhp even in a heavy car it should trap more then 112.

I usually do not hit it..but I was watching him in my rear view mirror and just did not expect it to be there so soon. Just a bad race..but I still beat him

Who knows about what they're supposed to do, I expected it to be a lot faster than that also. We're also at 2500+ DA.
