Easier to pull motor or leave it in?
I have to do the following to a 1994 camaro Z28 which is less work, keep in mind I have a hoist.
Cam swap
Valve springs
lifters
pushrods
Intake manifold
Injectors
possibly shorty headers
WOuld it be less work to lift the car off the motor and do it or just leave the motor in and fight under the cowl?

Leave it in.. Unless you can drop it out in 2 hours like I can Ive dropped alot LSX and LTX motors its like an oil change now. Ive even built a customer stand to catch it and use a palet jack to wheel it around on

Leave it in unless you have access to a lift. Be careful to not rip the seal on the oil pan! I ripped mine and now I am replacing the whole thing which=a TOTAL bitch with motor in the car.

I've been down three different roads. I've pulled it from the top, from the bottom and left the motor in. Time wise pulling it from the bottom has always netted the best results for me. If you're intimidated by the test then leave it in. I swapped cam and springs with the motor in and the springs in the back became more of a hassle than actually getting the cam in. Anyone who thinks pulling the motor is hard is doing it wrong.
