Default im thinking about selling my t/a

im really debating on selling my car because it has been a pain to keep up with the repairs. i owe almost $3000, with 136,000 miles and im not sure that the car will even last until i finish paying it off. I pay $300 monthly but I need an opti, my 3rd coil, another tranny mount, and worse of all i have a bent valve, as much as hate to debate on selling, i just might have to let it go and get a beat up car until i can really afford a nicer car. im thinkin about selling it for $5000 or $6000 so i can at least have money left over to get a cash car, so what do u guys think?

with all those problems I don't think you will get 5-6 g's for it and if you fix them all you might as well keep it.

Not gonna happen if someone has to tear the engine apart to replace a bent valve. Looks like a nice car though if it is the one in your sig.

ha bro you would be lucky to get anywhere near what you even have left to pay off on it....you would be lucky to get 2800 to be honest and that is pushing it

You might as well keep it for awhile & fix the problems, the market is very bad right now, & these cars aren't selling for much anyways, the only ones bringing good money are the very low miled units, with its problems, you'de be hard pressed even getting 2500.00 for it at best, i have a good 75-8000.00 in mine & only owned it sence March, & now i'm putting in a new clutck kit, before when i had it for sale at 4K & i only got 1 buyer (but i backed out), even though the clutch was so-so it still ran great, & you can see by my sig. all the up-grades i've done, hate to say it but its true, these cars are throw aways at the moment, so they need to be like new with VERY low miles before they'll bring good money, so fix it & drive it for another year or 2, but if you really want out, don't expect much.

his car is almost guaranteed to be a 95-97 since its a vert (yes they made them in 94 but they were very rare) and has the 5 spoke wheels which came out in 95

I've had my car for 4 yrs and I brought it for 4 grand and spent over 6 grand to repair everthing on the car . The blue book value of mine is $6000 with a new engine..so there's no way you could get that much for yours ! Not trying to sound like a dick but its the way it is ! Keep your ride !

dude i have a 94 z28 and i tried sellin it about 4 months ago for 3600 and i only had 102k miles at the time. I didnt even get one bite from anyone on it. I doubt ur gonna sell an lt1 car with that high of mileage and with the problems. I say keep it and look in the classifieds for parts and post up what you need im sure people have all the stuff you need. GOod luck with it. I still have mine and im just fixing it up slowly but surely until i can get the big chunk of cash together to do heads and cam and make it a great daily driveable street car.

i dont think that really matters, im just saying that i had lower miles and wanted a lower amount and i still couldnt get anyone interested. MOst people are looking for ls1 cars and selling an lt1 car is pretty difficult. I see people in the classified section sometimes starting around 7k and coming all the way down to around 4k just to get the car sold and those are bolt on cars and sometimes head and cam cars. But who knows you might get lucky and find someone interested.
