Default How Many Tenths Do You Drop in the 1/4 mile with a 150 shot

I wanted to figure out or find out how many tenths do people usally gain in the 1/4 with a 150 shot of the line then throught the run?
I have heard .8 tenths for a 100 shot?

I personally dropped .5 sec off with just a 75 shot. Everyone's cars' are different so I don't know if there really could be a ET drop per shot of N2O? Maybe just a good rule of thumb type answer.

The faster you go the less you will gain.

On a bone stock car, it would be possible to pick up over a full second with a 150 rwhp shot. As you get faster, the gains tend to slowly decrease.

There are so many other factors that affect your ET, so it's impossible to say that "a 150 shot will knock a second off of your 1/4 mile time", however all other things being constant, you could expect to be in the ballpark.

ya, it all depends how fast your car already is, youll drop more with a 150 shot if your car is close to stock running low 13 as oppose to a 10 second car on a 150 shot

My car is goofy,

I have full exhaust, TB and Lid= 12.9 at 109-110 weight 3450 a little gutted with me in it

-300lbs+skinnies and 150 shot= 12.0 at 123-124 weight 3150 with me in it
run with the nos it was hard to put it in 3rd and 4th with a horrible launch 2.0 60ft

If I had a new clutch with a better launch I wouldn't be suprised If I pulled off a 11.5

I still have a 10-bolt so I don't like to lauch hard at the track, I usually get a 1.9-2.0. I really can't afford to dump/slip clutch to high, I need the 10-bolt to last for at least till the spring.

I made a mistake that run was actually a 2.2 60ft even worse!!

sucks you have a stick, my 10 bolt held 1.41 and 1.45 60 foots so far and many 1.5-1.6's and a year of 1.7's I got lucky with my stalled auto i guess

Running 11.47 as best on motor with a 1.55 60 foot in kinda warm air, i went 10.72 not spraying off the line with a 1.54 60 foot in cold air. Spraying off the line, i ran 1.45 60 foot and 10.63

thats a 150whp rated shot but i dont think i'm getting the full 150whp. May be close tho, i picked up .84 so far. trap speed went from 118.5 to 127. I was expecting near full second and 10 mph tho

i'm also using like 8 lbs of nitrous for 4 passes... that doesnt seem right to me at all. Maybe 7.5 with the purging but still i thought i'd get 6 passes with full 10lb bottle

Way to many variables. On my 9.30 car, with N2O gear & converter in there, I picked up .75 with a 150-175.
