It was a great event. There were some sick *** cars there. Richie Stine running 7.42 was incredible to see. I guess that's why he's a champ. The big boys really shut up the import crowd.

Only thing that could have been better would have been if the 10.0 guys got to run when they should have. Some of my 10.0 buddies are saying that they'll skip the event next year. You can't please everyone.

Overall good show, I'll be there again.

4th year in a row me and 90% of the crowd didnt get to stay for the end.

temp and wind didnt help but having brackets at this event is totally NOT interesting. you could have ended at 8 without brackets, but i guess you would have also made less money. please explain how they are good for anything other than padding mir pockets???

be happy to discuss from a racers perspective when i am back up there this sunday for t/t

MIGHTYMOUSE is right from a spectator's perspective. Unfortunately, the 10.0 and slower cars did not keep the audience's attention. And I left before the final too. Not too content to sit around at 8:30 PM watching my breath in the freezing cold.

And watching the bikes did nothing for me.

My friends (local regulars) did pay to race however, and they really weren't happy with how their class was treated.

Maybe better planning nesxt year and lower # of cars in the slower classes?

racers and spectators were dissapointed

people that dont have what it takes to be in something called 'world cup finals' need not apply imo. myself included.

I think if they make it a 2 day event next year it will help a lot. The slower classes will still be able to run and it will probably draw a larger group of racers from across the country. I think its a great event and I would love to see it grow bigger.

I had a good time. Long day coupled with a 5 hour drive each way.
I would welcome a 2 day event

Hard to plan for breakage but 2 days will help

easy to plan for breakage.. its a drag stip, breakage is bound to happen

build time into the shedule, throw in two hours.. figure if 2 hours down you will finish at 8, if less problems it will end earlier, great.

dont shedule it to end at 6 but really have it end at 9 then add onto that when breakage happens

my position stands that 13 sec or slower cars have no business thinking they deserve to be in something called world cup finals. and additionally that import vs domestic has nothing at all to do with bracket racing. (especially slow *** import vs slow *** import bracket racing)

i do see that this exposes import drivers to racing and they want to participate.. let them come back another day instead of dragging water all over the track when the big boys are trying to break records

I agree with this. I didn't even want to run my low 12 second car and then you have people running 14's and slower! There are plenty of events for the slower cars and it does seem like you take some of the prestige out of the event by letting really slow cars run. Maybe have the cut off at 12 seconds and faster, especially for the bracket racing. I could have brought my AWD Magnum RT which runs with in a few hundreths every single time and it's bone stock and slow as hell. But it would have been competitive at the "World Cup"?
