It is essentially a 3/8" line front to rear.

Well there is a return line, but it only goes from approximately where the filter is back to the tank. I believe its 5/16.

Any one know what these translate into in AN fittings?

yup

I think the 3/8" = -6AN and 5/16" = -4AN
Can anyone confirm this?

I'm pretty sure when speaking in reference to AN fitting sizes, the AN# refers to the approximate size in 1/16's of an inch...

-4AN --> 4/16" --> 1/4"
-6AN --> 6/16" --> 3/8"
-8AN --> 8/16" --> 1/2"
-10AN --> 10/16" --> 5/8"
-12AN --> 12/16" --> 3/4"

Again, these numbers are approximate, not exact...
