What heads are you gonna use. Contact edcat or PatG and they can spec you the appropriate cam for your needs. Spray as much as you feel comfortable with.

What intake? Seem abit small for 400" with a shot.

Id be in the 248 intake range and for a fast intake 258 on the exhaust on a 200 shot. on a vic jr id go 264 or so on the exhaust. 116 lsa and on a fast be in +2. dependig where the heads flow. go ~ .03 over peak flow for lift. If you have some flow sheets and some more info on intake exhaust etc it would be easyer to give you some numbers.

out of your choices I would go with the second one. I like haveing 8 or more split for N20 cams, if that is what you are looking for.

On a fast id still go 10 split for a 200 shot.

248 258 630 630 114 +2 on a 200shot
252 268 630 630 116 +2 on a 300 shot( all 200 shot guys end up with 300 shot)

Hit me a PM if you need help picking or grinding something.

I would want more exhaust duration. the intakes outflow our exhaust a good bit add some ntrous and you can't get enough exhaust out.

and camshaft can be good. depends on your setup what would be better.

i think your headflow makes a huge deal on cam choice, i got mine specced out by patrick g. i gave him all the info about my motor, intake to oil pan. and told him what i wanted.

im running livernois stage 3 L92 heads on my 402, my cam is a 240/252 .650/.661 114+3. my plan is a 300 shot. everybody builds different setups, i would go with a custom cam geared for your setup.

if your building an iron 408, why only a 200 shot? any reason you dont want to go with a bigger shot?

i have that cam but on a 110 +1 and it really likes n20 for some reason but if i was going to spray alot i would want something like shiz suggests. i think 200 and under about any n/a cam will work pretty good but those big hits need more time/duration to evacuate all that extra cylinder fill.
