Car running better with new PCV setup..
The old setup included a breather on the oil fill cap, and the 2 rear ports connected together to a small breather. With this setup there wasnt anything pulling the vacuum out.
The new setup, I have both rear ports run seperate to a catchcan, and the other side of the catch can is connected to the air intake in front of the turbo. The catch can does NOT have a breather at the top of it.
The new setup still has the breather on the oil fill cap.
My rear main was leaking, and needs to get replaced, but I think it is leaking a lot less now. Do you think the vacuum has pulled it back into place? Also it seems to be idling a lot better now. Before it would kinda surge at a stop light, but doesnt seem to really do that anymore?

No oil out the dipstick, but it would pop up a little bit. It hasnt poped up since I changed the pcv setup.
Also, I wanted to mention, that all ports to the intake are blocked off. I am not using the PCV valve anymore.

how bad is the rear main seal leaking? I am just asking because most grand nationals leak a bit just because of age and the high boost 15+ psi is pretty much the norm.
How is the turbo kit working out? I am planning on using the ebay hotparts kit as a basis for my 67 turbo ls1 build and your posts have been much help so far... thanks man!

I just got back from Colombia on Sunday, and took the car out. Punched it a little at 30mph or so, and the car started going sideways. Put a nice smile on my face =).

Where ever you're sucking out of the motor. It's just so that it can never blow back into the motor (bov fails). Make sure you put it on in the correct direction. Most have an arrow on the side showing airflow direction.

That is a good point, didnt think about that.
What check valves do you recommend. Do you happen to have part numbers of them so I can get them from the local carquest, or napa?
