Default Big Foot Sighting(5th Gen.) Md.

I saw this today driving home from Western Md.(I-68) today, it was funny because no one even slowed down to take a look, except me and my son. The Caddy was a right hand drive (LSA) and the Camaro was a SS. I got one good run with the Camaro up to 150mph and had to back out of it because of traffic. My Subaru Outback almost had him
They must use I-68 as a test road because I see test vehicles alot on this road, the last veh. I saw was a SS Lumina.

Either your outback is sick or GM is worse off than we originally thought. Not calling bs on a pull but there werent any shots from the front-only tail lights...the way it should be.

I can't wait to get a run on one of these cars or at least spotting my first one.

Sorry man, It was just a little humor, my Subaru Outback would only give it a run in 8'' of snow. It was cool to see one on the road, we stayed behind it for awhile and no one else gave it a second look. I agree, it sure will be fun to run one in my other car(Z-28).

I saw this car in the spring, and it was a GM test vehicle, it had Lumina badges on it and SS emblems. It was rear wheel drive so I guess it could be the Chevy version of the G8 GT.

X2. When is that car coming out? With a kid coming in Spring I find myself in the four door market and that one looks like it fits the profile

they aren't coming out with it. It was a test car. They are sold as Lumina SS's in the middle east. Although it could be the new Impala

It looks to me like the Lumina has right hand steering and it looks like they took a G8 & put a different nose and backend.

That's funny, I was looking at the pictures and thought "wait a minute, I know where that is." That stretch of road is like 5 minutes from my house.

Do you think they would actually do something if you pulled up next to them? They're probably thinking "great, not another one." I'd imagine they'd get into a heap of trouble if caught in an illegal speed competition in a company car (unless they REALLY wanted to test the thing out...).

They were driving the speed limit, it would be cool to talk to the driver just to see what data they are logging and how they do the miles(multiple drivers, shifts, etc..)

I cant wait when threads like this disappear and you start seeing the Kill stories come out (Good and Bad). It was cool to see on the road..

Yep, that car is sold as the Chevy Lumina in the mideast, Pontiac G8 here, obviously as some Holden variants in Australia, and under the Vauxhall(sp?) brand in the UK. All the same exact car.

Both vehicles were GM test cars with Michigan tags; I see test vehicles from GM alot on this road, the Camaro had an un-matched front grill on it. I don`t think Motorweek was doing the testing; but it won`t be long...

Dunno about GM test drivers, but I see a BMW roadster mule on the 405-N, from OC to LA, all the time. It runs along between 65-85mph, trying to stay in the fast lane, moving out from time to time (essentially the way I commute, too). It's hard to tell, but I think it's the new Z-whatever...

Anyway, it's a good thing these cars look great from the back, because I'm pretty sure that's what most people are going to see.
I really like it with the Chevy badge covered. I'm definitely going to go !=badges. If I can ever get one.
