Default which muffler?

anyone think that a SLP loudmouth 2 mufler would sound good on my 2000 3.8 camaro? i have a single chamber with turn downs and its just not the tone i want anymore. Im thinking the SLP or a magnaflow glasspack. I wonder what you guys might think. Im looking for a nice tone. I understand its impossible to make a v6 sound good but bear with me please. I think im just looking for a nice moderate tone when i get on it, even if it sounds like a 6. I will put the muffler parrallel with my drive shaft and do a little dump over the rear end with no exits. thanks guys.

I have the Flowmaster on my 3.8 and like the tone. Just don't make the mistake of taking off the resonator...its on there for a reason.

I put a SLP Loudmouth 1 on a 2002 Camaro w/a v6 and it sounded like a v8 until you brought the rpm's up real high.

i liked the tone too when i had tips but i put turn downs on and now it just vibrates way too much stuff in my car and i think i just want something a step down. i want to put the muffler under the passenger seat so that way i can do a single exit over the rear end with no exits and the stage one wont fit as good as a glass pack which is another reason im looking at a different muffler.

what do you guys think of this? not that loud down low, but not too high pitch up high...

its a magnaflow glasspack. one of my friends has the same muffler on his v6 mustang and is quiet when cruising and sounds rather good at WOT (atleast the muffler sounds good lol)

Honestly, most of the V6 cat-backs for the 3.8 sound about the same unless you do some major modding like: headers, cam, intake. I would choose Magnaflow if you drive it through the winter, because its stainless, but I would take Flowmaster if its not a problem.

I like the sound of the Flowmaster on the 3.8 not a full cat-back just replacing the muffler.

yeah we did just the muffler on my sis in law car and she enjoyed it over the stock sound. Like it was said before they all pretty much sound the same unless there are serious mods...
