Picked it up yesterday
Drove it back from Dallas on 1/2 tank, about 230 miles and still drove it around town last night! I would have had to fill up my Mustang before even getting back to Houston. A minor con it has is that sport mode seems to be for only when you are lining up at the track or the light, and not for normal driving.Second, and also very minor, is a small hesitation from a roll when mashing on it, though that could have been because I had Stability Control engaged. The cons are nothing a tune can't remedy. When it does catch the right gear, it is a beast! The pros are that it is tight (no loose parts or vibrations), interior is classy and no big ***** that look outdated, the styling of the exterior, and of course the business end of the deal....the engine, plus really good gas mileage....atleast to me.

i think a custom tune done on the dyno by professionals is the best thing available. go to someone you trust and let them do 10 pulls and some street tuning. dont mail away for it. just my opinion

Not everyone has access to a dyno and a tuner.

My only problem is finding someone who knows how to tune a G8. There is one place I know of that used to do Fords then switched to GM cars. I might have to give that a shot.
