They make all kinds of street tires in 275/50/15s.

I wouldn't put ET Street radials on a DD, but then again I wouldn't put prostars on a DD either.

I drove on ET Streets and prostars ALOT last summer, but never in the rain or bad weather. Sunny days we're always game on though.

I cant find any actual street tires in that size. most are 275/60/15 and Im not going to go that big.

so basically i left with either BFG for 138.90/each or Nitto for 139/each.

I don't understand what you mean you don't want to go "that big"

A 275/60/15 is a tiny tire.

A little, but it wouldn't be any more retarded than putting a DD tire on a set of drag rims.

so, my buddys gonna get a set of 275/60/15's on a summit star 8 inch wheel. (there will be a seperate set of slicks for the track) the car will be running bottom 11's cam only(ms3, 92/92, 4.30's blah blah), but lets just say someone were to wanna pick a fight on the street how terrible would nittos be in THAT size, versus m/t's? or should we just say f*ck wear get mt's?

the car wont be DD, but 3-4+ times a week. no rain BS though.

sorry to thread jack, but its almost the same question.

I wouldn't run Nitto's on a stock car let alone a car like that.

BFG made a 275 50 15, Ive run a 295 50 15 on an 8 inch wheel (15) These are street tires- non DR. It is a bit hard to mount but possible. If you want to run on street tires and hook- yes its possible up to a certain power point- get a low tread wear rating and low temp but a decent traction rating. Dont run them too low in air pressure.
