Default Procharger

Ok guys I have a chance to get a Procharger DS1C. How hard is it to install and tune? Its going on a 99 Camaro SS, the car has a TR 224 cam installed, will this cause any problems? How much power does this thing make? I was going to go with H/C but I think I can get more out of this. New to the forced induction game so I dont know much about it. What's the most psi that an LS1 can run safely? Tha car is currently doing 364 to the wheels, can I see 450+ out of this?

Fuel upgrade, Dam good tune 8 psi is ok but 10 is pushing it big time. There is no telling truly if the motor will like boost its hit or miss. But I will make sure it has enough fuel, cool air and a spot on tune. Boost is love and hate bro belive me.

450rwhp+ is easy with a procharger. That cam and 8lbs will put you over 500.

Install is fairly easy, just takes some time. You will need a good tune for sure to keep it from running lean and detonating. You also need fuel upgrades to keep up with it.

I think it comes with fuel booster/injectors and hand held tuner. What else should I worry about?

So is the 224 cam ok to run under 8lbs of boost?

If like you said you dont know much about FI then do a lot of research before you do it or you'll be rebuilding that motor before your ready especially if you just throw that handheld in there.

Your cam will be a fairly good cam for 10#s, A stock c5 z06 cam will be a little more boost friendly but not enough to change in my opinion.
